How do I object?
Last updated: 5 June 2020
We encourage you to make your views known about the proposal in the following 4 ways (all four are important so please take the time to do each of these):
1. Make a FORMAL OBJECTION using this link.
This is Ealing Council's website. Enter your details, tick the boxes and make sure to select "object" in the stance option. Then enter your comments i.e. why you are objecting. Every member of your household can object - please also ask your friends/family.
2. Sign our online petition here.
3. Please let the ward councillors, council and your MPs know your feelings about Gurnell. Please see the guidance further down this page on how to do that.
4. Please email your feedback to the developer.
How do I make my objection count?
The council will only consider objections that contain material planning considerations. We have provided some material planning considerations below as a guide.
Simply copying text is not as effective so it’s important that you use your own words and say exactly how you feel about the plans and how they will impact you and the community. To make your objection meaningful, please include one or more of the reasons below in your email.
PLANNING POLICES AND STRATEGIC DOCUMENTS – NATIONAL, REGIONAL AND LOCAL
How do I contact my local representatives?
Tell Ealing Council and the London Mayor’s office that you object to these proposals
As well as making your objection on the council’s planning website, we also need to let the Council and other elected representatives know how we feel about this development.
You can write the content for one email and then just send it to all the groups. To make this easier, if your device supports it you can use the links below otherwise, please copy & paste email addresses into your email.
